Our Alumni

Central to our mission to drive social mobility, the Alumni Programme encourages and enables our alumni to undertake rewarding post-18 journeys and to fulfil their aspirations.

Upon concluding their bursary placements at the end of Year 13, SpringBoarders are welcomed into our vibrant alumni community and benefit from an annual cycle of socials and activities.

Some opportunities focus on supporting alumni to develop the skills they need to achieve fulfilling careers – whether through mentoring schemes with our corporate partners, finding funding to ensure they can afford to take up university places, or training them to become leaders in their field (for example, our Anti-Racism Ambassadors).

Our alumni also act as role models to younger SpringBoarders, using their experience to guide and inspire those coming up behind them – for example through our Mentoring and Preparation for Boarding programmes.

As beneficiaries of an RNCSF bursary award place, our alumni have unique insights into the RNCSF experience which play a crucial role in the evolution of our work. We are committed to putting our young people’s voices at the heart of everything we do and value the contributions that alumni make through their membership of bodies including our Advisory Board, sub-committees, and Leadership Council.

We welcome ideas about how the Alumni Programme can continue to develop to best support our alumni. If you are interested in partnering with us to enhance the social mobility of this talented and diverse community of young people, please contact us.
